Diamond Solitaire Necklace Size Comparison | How to Choose and Top Sizes from 0.3ct to 3ct

When choosing a necklace, size is often the most confusing factor. Carat is a unit representing the "weight" of a stone, not its actual visual size. The impression can also change depending on the shape of the stone and the design of the setting.

On this page, we introduce JEWELRY CASTLE’s solitaire lab-grown diamond necklaces (round brilliant cut), ranging from 0.3ct to 3ct. Please use the estimated stone size, the overall pendant dimensions, and the wearing images as a guide.

0.3ct Approx. 4.2–4.5mm Approx. 7×5×3.5mm

1.0ct Approx. 6.2–6.5mm Approx. 10×7×4.5mm
1.5ct Approx. 7.2–7.5mm Approx. 12×8×5.3mm

About Estimated Stone Sizes
There is no uniform standard for lab-grown diamond sizes, and there can be variations in diameter even for the same carat weight. The "Estimated Stone Size" in the table is a general guideline representing the range commonly seen for round brilliant cuts with an EX or IDEAL cut grade. It does not reflect the exact measurements of individual products.

About Pendant Size
This refers to the dimensions of the entire product, including the setting that holds the stone. It differs from the diameter of the stone. Slight variations may occur depending on the final finish.

All six round brilliant products on this page feature a 3EX cut grade (Excellent cut, polish, and symmetry).

Compare Stone Sizes Side-by-Side

The estimated stone sizes (midpoint of the range) are lined up as circles to the same scale. Please use this as a reference to see how the diameter changes as the carat weight increases.

How to Read Wearing Images and Size Specifications

Estimated Stone Size refers to the general approximate diameter of the stone itself. Pendant Size refers to the dimensions of the entire product including the setting. As these are two different figures, please be careful when comparing them.

The screen display is not actual size. To get a better idea of the actual size, you may find it helpful to compare the measurements against a ruler.
